What are the topics of the 6 sessions? Each session explores a topic through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. You can take the classes in any order at any time throughout pregnancy.
Numbers: Dilation, glucose tests, blood pressure, weight percentiles, APGAR scores...From the moment you conceive through your baby’s first steps, you are swimming in numbers! Find out which ones matter and why, and how you can make positive decisions throughout pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. Movement : Anxious about pregnancy aches and pains? Wonder how you’ll cope if baby is fussy? And just how are you supposed to push a 7+ pound person out of you? Don’t just sit and worry--come learn to stretch, tilt, and sway your way to happier childbearing! Patience: Patience is a virtue--the most important one a mama can have. Whether you are watching for signs of labor, coping with a long birth, or comforting a colicky newborn, you truly need patience to keep it together. Learn what you can do to endure it all with a smile. Traditions: Feel like you hear a lot about inductions, C-sections, and other labor augmentations? Are they necessary? Are they normal? Come talk about the wild world of U.S. maternity care. Figure out which standard practices stem from research, which have sprouted out of cultural traditions, and which fit in your birth plan. Food: You eat every day--and so does your baby. Feed your craving for knowledge about how to have a healthy relationship with food during pregnancy, and a happy feeding relationship once your little one arrives! We’ll go in depth on breastfeeding, and on how to avoid having a picky eater. Support: Who will be with you when baby arrives? How can they help you labor well? Who can guide you if nursing gets hard? Who will laugh (or cry) with you about baby’s 5th blowout of the day? Learn how to get the best support for yourself now, during birth and through the eventful days of early parenthood. |

Single sessions (up to 3): $55 each Custom sessions: Have a specific issue you'd like to prepare for, such as an induction or labor with gestational diabetes? Want to do a combo of 2 or more of my standard topics, but only in one class session time? I would be delighted to craft a custom session for you. Available for $75 per session. Cash or check due at the attended class. PayPal is available for video classes or in-person classes. Quality natural birth instruction is something everyone deserves. If these prices are cost-prohibitive, contact Linda to work out a price that fits. How do I register for classes?Nouvelle Birth offers 6 topic-based sessions available whenever works for you. To register, email nouvellebirth@gmail.com.
You choose how many sessions to register and pay for. You can pay for all the sessions at once, or pay as you attend. If you intially choose to register for only a couple sessions, but later decide that you'd like to attend all 6, then you can still receive the lower All 6 price. Example: Sonya wants to try Nouvelle Birth. At first, she chooses to register for just 2 sessions--Numbers and Patience. She pays $55 per session. But later in her second trimester, she realizes she wants more preparation. She registers for the remaining 4 sessions, and pays the difference of $190. That makes each session only $50 each. |
